Embed GoApp

GoApp is Abi’s embedded consultation experience. It brings individual health guidance from Abi’s network of licensed doctors and healthcare professionals into a partner website or application. A GoApp URL combines the environment-specific token supplied by Abi with the Abi user id returned by the REST API.

What users experience

Your application remains the place where users begin their journey. GoApp opens the configured consultation experience inside it, with the language, clinician country, branding, consent, and access controls agreed for your partnership. The user identity is created server-side through the API; GoApp does not create an account in the browser.

Prerequisites

An Abi partner account and GoApp configuration.
Server-side API authentication.
An Abi user account created through the REST API.

Create or retrieve the Abi user

Use the REST API to create the user. Keep your uniqueId as your own system reference and use Abi’s returned id in the GoApp URL.
Use the GoApp token provided for your partnership

Confirm the token and environment with Abi before integrating. Do not assume a sandbox or test token is available; ask Abi what validation setup is available for your partnership.

Keep the iframe on HTTPS and use the environment-matched GoApp token. Do not add sandbox="allow-scripts"; this can prevent parts of the consultation experience from working.

Listen for the agreed postMessage events and validate their origin before acting on a message. See GoApp configuration and events.
